Travel Formalities: A Visa is a must to enter India. You can contact the Indian Embassy/High Commission in your country for this. It is best to carry your passport with you at all times. You should also carry travel insurance.

Visa Extensions: Visa Extensions for foreign nationals can be arranged from an office situated at Thycaud, 2 kms. away from the central bus station. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and remains closed on second Saturdays of the month, Sundays and Public holidays.
